This Privacy Policy explains what information YP Host Suite collects when you (a short-term rental host, "you", "Host") use our dashboard, and when your guests view a property's public Guest Guide page. It does not cover third-party sites we link to (e.g. Airbnb, Booking.com, Paddle).
Account information: name, email address, password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).
Property and operations data you enter: property details, booking records, cleaning/maintenance tasks, supply levels, message templates, and compliance notes you choose to store. This may include guest names, stay dates, and contact details you enter for your own bookings — you are the data controller for that guest information; we process it on your behalf as a service provider.
Team member data: if you invite cleaners/maintenance staff, we store their name, phone number, and a unique access link. They do not create a password-based account.
Automatically collected data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, request timestamps) for security and debugging. Session cookies to keep you signed in and remember your language/preferences — see Section 5.
Payment data: if you subscribe to a paid plan, billing is handled by Paddle.com as our Merchant of Record. We do not receive or store your full card number; Paddle processes payment and applicable sales tax directly.
We do not sell your personal information or your guests' information to third parties.
We use a small number of service providers to operate YP Host Suite: hosting/infrastructure provider, Paddle (billing, as Merchant of Record), and an email delivery provider (SMTP) once configured. Each only receives the data needed to perform their function. We may disclose information if required by law.
We use a session cookie required for you to stay signed in, and to remember your language and interface preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies within the dashboard itself. The public Guest Guide page uses the same minimal session cookie for language preference only.
We retain your account and property data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within [X] days, except where we must retain records for legal, tax, or security purposes.
Depending on where you live (e.g., California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to opt out of certain data uses. YP Host Suite is intended for business use by adults operating short-term rental properties. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We use industry-standard measures (password hashing, encrypted connections in production, session protection, rate limiting on login) to protect your data. No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice where required by law.
